Kristyn Keene Benton began her career in 2006 at ICM and was an agent at both ICM and CAA before joining Empire Literary. Her list includes New York Times bestselling authors and prize winners, such as recipients of the PEN America Award, Southern Book Prize, and National Book Award’s “5 Under 35,” as well as authors whose books have been featured in Reese Witherspoon, Jenna Bush Hager, GMA, and Belletrist book clubs.
She is actively acquiring literary and commercial fiction, especially book club and women’s fiction. On the nonfiction side, she is looking for essay collections, memoir, and powerful female voices who are experts at what they do. She represents select children’s picture books as well.
Kristyn has a degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara and the Columbia Publishing Course.
